I am a graduate of UTI Exton. Perfect attendance, student of the course 9x. I am not a slacker, in any way shape or form. I wasted 40,000$ of my family's money. 2 years ago I graduated, I had no more Practical applicable knowledge that I would have had I not attended at all.

What I do have is a head full of outdated automotive facts, 1.5 years of my youth gone and the shame of wasting money my parents could have bought me tangible things like tools that actually would have furthered my career.

Please read the reviews. Please heed them. No matter how inarticulate the students are that compose them. They all say pretty much the same thing don't they?

If you choose this school after all these warnings you have no one to blame but yourself

Now a lot of you all say, its going to be my dumb *** fault for going to uti and not learning ***. I agree, it is, I do regret going to u.t.i

because I have the same common issue as many others on here.

In fact I think I might know some of you? Their is no question I made a 35,000 dollar mistake. The bottom line is a they lie to you, Thats the lesson learned here, they just want your money. THE HANDS ON SUCKS, THATS WHY ALOT OF GRADUATES LIKE MY SELF SUCK IN THE FIELD. SOO TO ANYBODY CONSIDERING GOING TO UTI. don't do it

I found a job without uti making 12 60 an hour. while in school I felt bullied a lot because I'm not a fast learner and I asked a lot of questions. ALTHOUGH THE INSTRUCTORS ALWAYS TOLD ME TO KEEP ASKING QUESTIONS, THEY HATED WHEN I ASKED A QUESTION PERTAINING TO THE SUBJECT BECAUSE I WOULD ASK TO MANY. everybody their is a fake!! INSTRUCTORS, SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALISTS, THEIR ALL IN IT FOR THE MONEY

ive beeen working at my job for 4 months now and I think I'm going to stay, im doing well and although its not a job in the field,

CLOSE ENOUGH, I just now wish someone could reimburse the 30,000 i will have to pay

ohh and to anybody from uti reading this, don't bother asking me

to ask for help because I'm banned from doing that by the president, as he called me and I told him off

LESSON LEARNED: LIARS AND FAKES ARE OUT THEIR

THAT JUST WANT YOUR MONEY MHMHMHMM SOCIAL MEDIA

SPECIALTS, RECRUITERS EVEN INSTRUCTORS

THOSE INSTRUCTORS ARE FAT LAZY RETIRED SENSELESS

BASTARDS, THAT WILL GET THEIR KARMA BACK......

I went to UTI Glendale Heights Illinois from 2009 to 2010 and I can tell you it's garbage. they play nice with you and lie to you to sign you up and once you sign up you're on your own.

you are not allowed to miss a certain amount of time otherwise you're not allowed to pass no matter the circumstances. you get treated like a child worse than high school and if you have trouble understanding material you cannot ask an instructor for help because they don't. the instructors the did help and what did with the students I'll get put down. also a lot of the instructors skip over a lot of the material.

when you complain to him SF this they just say it's unnecessary. at the end when you're supposed to get your tools you don't get nearly as much as you were told they say a thousand dollars worth of snap on but you can only choose from a few snap on Sat it actually come out till like seven or eight hundred dollars. on top of it all if you want to transfer your credits only a few very few schools do except the credits.if you really want to be a mechanic you don't have toto go to this school you can go to a community college which is way better and stre cheaper. the credits will transfer also and really you can find out a lot of this just by going online and watching videos in reading books go to a local shop express your interest and you can learn there and it's better than this school.

I've only had two jobs at the school didn't help find at all and neither cared that I went to UTI and actually almost cost me my job that's how bad the school is. you can get jobs at dealerships but the only ones I've ever seen people get are as car porters. UTI is a scam and a joke do not recommend this for anyone. it will put you in extreme debt for information you can get off books and the Internet.

they will argue do you get hands-on experience but you don't get that much at all. all they do is make print out and tell you what to do like filling the sentence lol its a joke school if you're in the Glendale Heights area go to College of DuPage even lincoln tech but not this trash garbage good for nothing waste of money robbing fake lying school.

My name is Chris and i attended UTI in Chicago. When i started they guaranteed all kinds of assistance in finding jobs, paying for school, and finding a place to live. When i started i had just moved out there and had talked to the administrators who had guaranteed they had a job i could start immediately and an affordable place to live. well when i got up there they handed me a binder full of papers and said good luck. half of the jobs required substantial experience or where over an hours drive from the campus. But i had still tried to apply seeing as you need someway tp support yourself but found that most of the jobs had been taken already and they were to lazy to remove them. and then when i looked into places to live they were shoddy apartments which you would need multiple roommates to live in and they bases by which you chose your roommates was based upon some vague questions like what music do you listen to and are you kind of messy or not.

This is not the worst however. These people seem purely to want to rape your wallet. Every time i tried to get financial aid help i needed a parent cosigner. This is absurd i live independently in a separate state and need a **** cosigner?! Something funny is while i attended at one point i got a note to my class saying i owed money and when i spoke to the financial aid people they said i needed more money and had to get a cosigned loan and they said they would send the paperwork to them and contact me if there were any problems. 2 months later i get a not saying i have to drop out because i owe $6,500. I had been under the impression that since i had never been contacted or received any notice that the loan had not gone through i was okay. Apparently not. The worst was how they wanted to collect. For the first few months i had no [problem paying(except being very irritated) then when i wanted to move the date to work better with my paychecks. i had to pay a processing fee and all kinds of hassles to get this done. Later after i was in a severe car accident which left me severely disabled and unable to work. They said they had no record of me trying to change my payment date so i had a lot of late fees. But when i tried to get a differal because i was unable to work so i had no income they told me there is no way hey can not receive a payment. The best they could do is give me a hardship payment which decreases my payment to $75/mo. This place is horrible they do not care about you. If you want to learn how to work on cars go to a junkyard and tear stuff apart. you will be better off.
