UTI is nothing but a SCAM from the start and it starts the minute you begin talking with their representatives. The only other scam that comes close to UTI is a vacation timeshare, although, I think UTI may be worse.

The salesmen appeal to the prospective student by showing them a bunch of cool cars and tell them that they will get to work on them while they are at the school. What the rep leaves out is that the vehicles that he is showing you are only display vehicles and students DO NOT get to do anything with them. They also show the prospective student the later programs that are the most interesting. What the rep does not tell you is that you will not get to these programs until a year after you enroll.

By that time, most students don’t care or even want to complete the programs, ie- The Hot Rod program. Not only does the salesman appeal to the prospective student with their lies, but they also appeal to the parents by telling them that UTI is going to make your son/daughter “professional” and prepare them to be a part of a professional field. Again, this is nothing but a lie to such you into giving your hard earned money to UTI and giving you very little in exchange. At the UTI Exton campus, after you complete your “education”, you only get a certificate that says you have completed.

You get no degree and no real accredited documents. After all that time and money you have spent at UTI, you will leave there with little to nothing to use towards a career. The UTI certificate is, in fact, a hindrance to getting a job in the field. Many, many employers have hired UTI students and been so disappointed with their job performance and work ethics that they won’t even consider hiring UTI students anymore.

They would prefer students that went to a different school. I have met many UTI graduates that have told me that in order to land their current job, they had to remove UTI completely from their resume. The UTI name has been going downhill for a long time, however, their tuition costs to their students are always moving uphill. Do yourself a favor and consider the non-profit schools that teach the same things and don’t waste your money, time and life with UTI.

You will have mountains of debt and disappointment in the end. The UTI company culture embraces incompetence, poor decision making and ineptitude. Most of the company’s managers have risen to their position through the UTI buddy system and they have no idea what goes on in the classrooms or how to correct any problems therein. There have been many great managers and instructors that have worked at UTI through the years, but because they showed common sense, decency and solid business sense, UTI quickly shows them the door.

The good people have left and moved on to worthwhile careers while the incompetence continues to dominate UTI’s management. Mainly, because those incompetent people know that they will never find another job that accepts and nurtures them like UTI does. Hence, the falling stock prices. UTI claims to have an open door policy, but DO NOT disagree with their management or offer differing opinions, you will only upset the incompetent managers and it will lead to your dismissal.

…. Don’t be fooled by this fake educational institution.

A truthful and honest review of an awful campus.

You forgot to tell people about the Collegiate Housing SCAM that UTI runs with CHS (Collegiate Housing Services). CHS has gotten in touch with ALL of the apartment buildings in the area and advised them NOT to rent to UTI students.

That forces UTI students to rent from CHS and pay quadruple what it would cost them to rent the apartment, otherwise. CHS jams 4 students into a 2 bedroom apartment and charges them quadruple what they would pay if they had rented it with only 2 students and on top of that, CHS will ride you about how you keep the place ...

another UTI SCAM !!!! Don't get Scammed by UTI or CHS !!!!
