Where do I start. Seemed like a good idea.

Not many shops care about

"the paper" you receive. Graduated 4.0 GPA 99% attendance rate. Took me 1 year to get a job paying 13.50 per hour. The career assistance is a joke.

Most employers will laugh you out of their office due to the amount of garbage technicians UTI has let into the wild. It took me 6 years to achieve a wage that I could begin to pay school bills, tool bills, and living expenses. If you want to go into default and learn less than getting your foot in the door at a shop, go for it. Other wise it's a joke, instructors are the only thing going.

Tuition reimbursement is almost non existant now a days. Watch for the courses they put you in, sign up for one manufacturer, find out they signed you up for your most hated manufacturer when your preferred manufacturer training course pulled out.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $50000.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Universal Technical Institute Pros: Teachers.

Universal Technical Institute Cons: Lies.

You sir have said exactly what I've come looking to tell people of. 4.0 98.8 attendance rate an build transmissions in my drive way, but can't seem to find a job that actually pays accordingly.

You're expected to take a job at a dealer at $10 an hour walking through there doors with $2000 in tools to do work they charge $110 an hour for!

With bloody hands an all, psh so many more jobs out there where you sit in AC on a nice chair for the same salary of not more. VERY UNSATISFIED WITH UTI!
